It's an exciting day at Bisson Dentistry as we announce our 6th year of offering FREE dental services to our community.
We are proud to have reached this milestone and look forward to continuing our tradition of giving back to those in need. Each year, we are honored to serve senior citizens on a fixed income, parents who prioritize their children’s needs while making ends meet, and working people who live paycheck to paycheck.
As dental professionals, we understand the importance of oral health and its impact on overall well-being. Unfortunately, many people do not have access to regular dental care due to financial constraints. That's why we are committed to providing free dental services one day a year to individuals who cannot afford them.
Free Dental Day Event Details

As our 6th FREE dental event approaches, we want to remind everyone that this is a first come, first serve event for adults 18 years or older. It’s best to arrive early and be prepared to wait outside our office doors. This means dressing appropriately and having layers of clothing for various weather conditions. Please remember, there is no smoking on the premises.
We commit to seeing the first 40 patients. These patients will have a choice of a complimentary filling, extraction, or hygiene visit.
If you’re wondering which service benefits you the most, here are some things to consider:
- Dental fillings are an effective treatment for repairing teeth that have been damaged by decay or trauma. Fillings help restore tooth function, improve oral health, enhance appearance, and prevent further damage.
- An extraction involved removing the tooth from its socket in the jawbone. This is typically a last resort for treating dental problems but provides many benefits for oral health and overall well-being. Additionally, extraction also provides immediate pain relief.
- A hygiene visit, or cleaning, is for patients who need to remove plaque and tartar, brighten their smile, or find early detection of other dental problems such as cavities and gum disease.

As Free Dental Day grows, we invite other dentists in the Guelph area to join us on the mission to keep Guelph smiling. By coming together to offer free dental care, we can contribute to the community in a meaningful way while also raising awareness about the importance of dental health and the impact that regular dental care can have on overall health and well-being.
At Bisson Dentistry, Free Dental Day is not the only way we give back to our community. We continuously offer free checkups for all new patients – this is roughly $160 worth of services! We also support local organizations like Guelph Humane Society, Guelph Food Bank, Guelph Minor Sports, Hope House, and more.
